i have to wonder - how do you manage to find so much varied new music? i feel like streaming services’ algorithms push the same things over and over again so coming across perhaps lesser known artists feels impossible
I like to keep up with record labels that consistently put out music I love, make notes of bands mentioned in interviews or reviews, see who artists I listen to post about or bring out on tour, friend recs etc. Definitely find some stuff via algorithms sometimes, but I find it’s more enjoyable and rewarding to find stuff on your own.
thank you!! it’s always so interesting to see what you as musicians yourselves are listening to, and hearing which parts get translated into your own work
coming back to say that back of my hand by horse vision is such a killer track, listened to the album they released earlier this year too and it’s so good, 10/10 recommendation
jamming to this playlist at my desk is the highlight of this dreary monday morning at work. thanks a million :)
wowww what a treat thank you!
added to my library… will listen :)
